Is compulsory for exhibitors and is $15 for two adult passes, a
vehicle pass and includes postage and administration fee.
Additional adult passes are $6 each Children 5-16 years are
$2.00 - these may be requested on entry form.

ENTRY FEES
As stated and includes the 20 cents per
horse/pony compulsory public liability insurance.
RIBBONS & PRIZE MONEY
Will be distributed after each class. First prize only
paid out if there are 4 entries; first and second
paid if there are 6 entries; all prize-money paid
out if there are 7 or more entries.
Please note:-
that all
prize money will be paid out in Harness classes,
regardless of the number of entries.
GENERAL NOTES
1 Roads - We advise that all horses and ponies
should be LED across the internal road, as
it is deemed slippery.
2 Exercising - Horses and ponies may be exercised
on the Oval throughout the day in the areas allocated.
(see maps on back of entry form).
3 Definitions:
(a) Novice: Not having won any Class at any Agricultural
or EFA Affiliated Show.
(b) Intermediate: Not having placed 1st. to 6th. at any
Royal Show.
(c) Open: Open to any horse.
4 Ownership - All horses/ponies must be the bonafide
property of the exhibitor(s).
5 Substitutes - Only horses or ponies which
have
been nominated and named will be accepted. A
substitute MAY be accepted if this animal has been
entered on the day.
VETERINARY SURGEON
Judges may call on the Society's Veterinary Surgeon
in respect of the soundness of any exhibit. The
Society reserves the right to test any exhibit to
determine whether any drug or stimulant has been
administered to such exhibit. The Society shall not be
liable for death, injury or damage, which may be
sustained by an exhibit due to this test being carried
out. A Veterinary Surgeon will be on call.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1 The committee reserves the right to measure
entries where height is specified.
2 Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
3 Foals to be led or kept secured whilst on the
Showgrounds.
4 Competitors are required to be suitably attired.
5 The Society will not be held responsible for any
accident that may be caused to or by any horse
and it shall be a condition of entry that each
nominator hold the Society blameless and shall
indemnify it against any legal proceedings arising
from any such incident.
6 All protests must be in writing and handed to
the Stewards or Secretary within one hour of the
Judge’s decision, accompanied by a fee of $20,
which shall be forfeited should the Committee
deem the protest frivolous.
7 No person shall be allowed in the ring during
judging except ring officials, reporters, secretaries
and persons in charge of exhibits, unless invited
by the President of the Society, or with the
written consent of the Secretary or Convenor.
8 The Society will not, under any circumstances,
hold itself liable for any accidents on the
Showgrounds or premises, or for any loss or
damage incurred.
9 Any person giving wrong description or giving
annoyance to the Secretary, Convenor, Committee,
Stewards
or Judges is liable to disqualification
and may be barred from future shows.
10 Any act that, in the opinion of the ring officials is
deemed cruel or neglectful (eg. whip marks),
may cause the exhibitor to be barred from the
class. Severe cases will be reported to the
appropriate authority.
11 Any exhibit that becomes loose from it’s
handler or rider in the arena will be required
to withdraw from the class. |
